Description

Soft and chewy cookies filled with caramel and chocolate for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel cubes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate, melted (for drizzling)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup crushed caramel candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture. Mix until just combined.
  4. Add Mix-ins: Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped caramel cubes, chocolate chunks, and crushed caramel candies.
  5. Shape Cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and place them onto the prepared baking sheet. Space them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Drizzle and Serve: Once cooled, drizzle with melted milk chocolate for an extra chocolatey finish.

Notes

  • Make sure the butter is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • To ensure even baking, use an oven thermometer.
  • For slightly chewy cookies, bake them for a minute less than the suggested time.
