Description

Delicious Rhodes rolls glazed with a fresh orange topping, perfect for any gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 roll Reynold’s Wrap Nonstick Foil
  • 24 rolls Frozen Rhodes Rolls
  • ⅓ cup Butter (melted)
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 3 Zested Oranges
  • ⅓ cup Craisins
  • 1 ½ cups Powdered Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh Orange Juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Orange Zest (from a 4th orange)
  • ½ teaspoon Almond Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13″ dish with Reynold’s nonstick foil. Or for taller bread, use an 8×11″ dish.
  2. Allow for the dough to thaw in a foil lined pan covered with greased plastic wrap. If cutting, this is the point to do halves or quarters; quarters are better when feeding a crowd.
  3. In a small dish, melt butter.
  4. In another small dish, combine sugar and zest the 3 oranges.
  5. Drizzle a little butter in the bottom of the pan and sprinkle with a little sugar. Add the bread balls in one layer. Drizzle a little butter and sugar again, finishing with your final bread, butter and sugar.
  6. Sprinkle the dough all over with the craisins. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, or let rise in a warm spot for about an hour, until doubled in size.
  7. If letting it rise truly, they will get big like rolls, but if in a hurry, it is okay to move forward even if they haven’t doubled. Use the proof setting on the oven to go faster.
  8. Remove the rolls from the fridge to sit on the counter while the oven heats to 350 degrees.
  9. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through. Tent with more nonstick foil the last 10 minutes.
  10. Meanwhile, prepare the glaze.
  11. Remove the bread from the oven and allow to sit for 5 minutes. Drizzle with the glaze and enjoy!
  12. Mix powdered sugar, orange juice, zest of 1 large orange, and extracts together until smooth. Drizzle all over the hot rolls so it melts into them.
