Description

A delicious creamy chicken noodle casserole that is easy to prepare and perfect for a family meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles in salted water until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Add the shredded chicken and frozen vegetables to the mixture and stir to coat.
  4. Gently fold in the cooked noodles until evenly combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
