A delicious and creamy penne pasta dish with Italian sausage and bell peppers.
Ingredients

- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb Italian sausage, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown 1 lb sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until golden; cook thoroughly for flavor.
- Add 2 sliced peppers and 1 cup onion and cook for 4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in 2 cloves minced garlic and 2 tbsp tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Add 3 cups broth, 1 cup cream, and 12 oz pasta; stir well.
- Simmer uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring until pasta is tender; stir often.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan; season to taste.

- Tip: Stir often to prevent the pasta from sticking.
