Description

A hearty spaghetti dish featuring ground beef and marinara sauce, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion (chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 jars Marinara Sauce (24 oz each)
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 12 oz Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (optional for toppings)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef with the onions. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Add in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Then stir in the marinara sauce, oregano, salt, pepper and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered for approximately 10 minutes.
  4. Break the spaghetti noodles in half and stir them into the sauce. Stir to combine and cook at a simmer for 12-15 minutes stirring frequently to prevent the pasta from sticking together.
  5. After the cook time, check the pasta for tenderness and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the noodles are cooked to al dente.
  6. Serve topped with the Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Enjoy!
