Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
  2. Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s roughly ¼ inch thick.
  3. Sprinkle an even layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough. Leave about an inch border around the edges.
  4. Place the slices of pepperoni evenly over the cheese.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the filling for added flavor.
  6. Starting from one end, gently roll the dough into a log, keeping it tight. Pinch the seams to seal.
  7. Cut the log into approximately 1-inch thick slices and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Lightly brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil for a golden color when baking.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown.
  10. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
