Delicious homemade pepperoni pizza rolls perfect for dipping!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- ½ cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Cooking spray or parchment paper for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
- Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s roughly ¼ inch thick.
- Sprinkle an even layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough. Leave about an inch border around the edges.
- Place the slices of pepperoni evenly over the cheese.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the filling for added flavor.
- Starting from one end, gently roll the dough into a log, keeping it tight. Pinch the seams to seal.
- Cut the log into approximately 1-inch thick slices and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil for a golden color when baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown.
- Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
- For variations, try adding different toppings such as olives or bell peppers.
