Description
A flavorful snack featuring roasted pistachios seasoned with ranch and spices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds pistachios (in the shell)
- ¼ cup vegetable oil or olive oil
- 2 packets dry ranch seasoning
- 2–3 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, mix together the dry ranch seasoning, cayenne pepper, and dried dill weed. Set aside.
- Place the pistachios in a large bowl. Drizzle with vegetable oil and toss until the pistachios are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle about one-third of the seasoning mixture over the pistachios and stir well to combine. Repeat this process with the remaining seasoning mixture, stirring after each addition to ensure all the pistachios are thoroughly coated.
- Spread the seasoned pistachios evenly onto a large baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- Remove the pistachios from the oven and let them cool completely. Store in an airtight container or resealable bags.
Notes
- Adjust the cayenne pepper to your spice preference.
- For best flavor, allow the pistachios to cool completely before storing.
