Description

This refreshing strawberry banana smoothie is packed with nutrients and flavor, perfect for a quick breakfast or a healthy snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1012 strawberries sliced and frozen
  • 1 large banana peeled, sliced, and frozen
  • ¼ cup baby spinach packed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup orange juice fresh or organic preservative-free bottled
  • ½ cup plain yogurt use non-dairy yogurt for vegan
  • 1 tablespoon honey use maple syrup or agave nectar for vegan

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen strawberries, frozen banana, baby spinach, chia seeds, orange juice, yogurt, and honey to a high-speed blender.
  2. Note: You can thaw the frozen fruits on the counter for 10 minutes if they are too hard.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Add more orange juice if the smoothie is thick for your liking.
  5. Check for sweetness and add more honey if needed.
  6. Transfer the smoothie into 2 serving glasses.
  7. Garnish with halved strawberry and serve chilled.
