Description

A luxurious creamy lobster pasta that’s perfect for a special occasion or a cozy dinner at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium-sized lobster tails, cooked and chopped
  • 12 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, optional, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:

Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Prepare the Lobster:

If not pre-cooked, boil the lobster tails in salted water for about 8-10 minutes. Let cool, then remove the meat and chop it into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Make the Sauce:

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the white wine, allowing it to simmer and reduce by half. Stir in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

  4. Combine Ingredients:

Add the cooked pasta and chopped lobster to the sauce. Toss gently to combine. Stir in the lemon zest and chopped parsley. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

  5. Serve:

Plate the pasta, ensuring each serving has a generous amount of lobster and sauce. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Lobster Options: Use pre-cooked lobster meat to save time.

  • Cheese Varieties: Substitute with Pecorino Romano for a sharper flavor.

  • Wine Substitute: If you prefer not to use wine, add a splash of chicken broth or more cream.
