Description

Delicious grilled chicken breasts marinated in a honey-lime sauce with spices.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 lime (zested and quartered)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • Lime slices (for garnish (optional))

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to a medium heat.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Then sprinkle evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. In another small bowl, combine the lime zest, lime juice, honey, and chili powder.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes. Then flip and cook on the other side for another 5 to 6 minutes.
  6. Brush both sides of the chicken with honey-lime sauce.
  7. Continue cooking the chicken and brushing with sauce until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Remove from the grill and serve warm.

  • Adjust cooking time based on thickness of the chicken breasts.
  • Serve with lime slices for added flavor.
