Description

A deliciously moist eggnog bundt cake perfect for the holidays!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 to 4 tbsp eggnog

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in eggnog.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cooling for about ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. For the frosting, beat together powdered sugar and butter; mix in vanilla and enough eggnog for desired consistency. Frost cooled cake.
