Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • Zest from 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well mixed.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in dried cranberries and orange zest.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden around the edges but soft in the center.
  9. Allow to cool on wire racks before serving.
