Description

Delicious Nutella hazelnut cookies that are soft in the center and rolled in powdered sugar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (plus extra for rolling)
  • 1/3 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts (toasted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the Nutella and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, chopped hazelnuts, and salt. Gradually combine this with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Allow to cool slightly before rolling in powdered sugar.
