A delicious smoked salmon cream cheese spread, perfect for bagels or crackers.

- 8 oz smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried dill)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tbsp capers, chopped
Instructions
- Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature.
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese and chopped smoked salmon until well combined but still chunky.
- Stir in dill, capers, and lemon juice until evenly mixed. Adjust lemon juice to taste.
- Season with salt and pepper; be mindful of the natural saltiness of the salmon.
- Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least one hour to meld flavors.
- Serve chilled on toasted bagels or with crackers and fresh veggies.
Notes
- For a stronger dill flavor, use fresh dill.
- This spread is best served chilled.
- Great with a squeeze more lemon for extra tang.
