Description

Delicious homemade glazed donuts that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut mold halfway with batter and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. Let cool slightly before glazing. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth; drizzle over warm donuts.
