Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until foamy.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, just until fragrant—do not brown.
- Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest. Reduce heat and whisk to combine.
- Add capers and simmer for 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley if using.
- Serve immediately over your favorite protein, pasta, or vegetables.
