A simple yet delicious ribeye steak recipe.

- 1 lb ribeye steak
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the steak dry with paper towels and rub both sides with olive oil. Season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- (Optional) Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place the steak on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes based on desired doneness (medium-rare: 130°F/54°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Notes
- For best results, let the steak rest before slicing to retain its juices.
